The Greek Orthodox Community of St George Brisbane is establishing St George College, a new co-educational independent Primary School, with commencement from 2025. The Queensland Government granted accreditation to St George College for primary education on the school site located at 25 Besant Street, 36 Browning Street and 27 Edmondstone Street, South Brisbane and decided that St George College Ltd is eligible for government funding for the School.
St George College is being established by the Parish Community of the Greek Orthodox Community of St George, Brisbane under the auspices of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia.The newly established College will be governed by an independent Board of Directors. St George College is presently at funding and development stage.
Based on the foundations of using endeavour to achieve excellence, the P-6 College will provide a holistic education for young students where they can thrive and serve their community, shaped by Hellenic culture and the Orthodox Christian faith.
Students will be uniquely prepared for secondary school by developing faith-based values and experiencing a rich curriculum and stimulating co-curricular activities supported throughout the community. It is planned that classes P-1 will commence in 2025 with rollout of Years 2-6 following. We encourage you to return to this website regularly for updates.
